The works in detail
We turn apartments and whole buildings into homes ready to live in or to rent out. We handle every stage, from the first site visit to handing over the keys.
Nevoso Palace
A former office building at via Monte Nevoso 6: suspended ceilings, open-plan floors and staff toilets turned into seven apartments, now let as short stays by Rial Estate.
From open-plan office to living room. An open-plan office, with cables hanging from the suspended ceiling. The two windows stayed where they were; around them a living room took shape, with a dining table, a sofa bed and, on the right, the bedroom door.
Same light, a different home. Office curtains and a panelled ceiling already opened up. The window and the French door onto the balcony stayed: today they frame the living room, with the sofa bed and the TV.
From office to dining corner. Yellow walls, office curtains and a ceiling opened onto the services. Today, with the door on the left and the window on the right as before, the same corner is the flat’s dining area.
The building site, then the living room. Mid-works: a mobile scaffold, stacked panels and walls still in office green. Today that corner is a bright living room, with a dining table, a sofa bed and a French door onto the balcony.
Where the office toilet used to be. The old staff toilet, with pale blue tiles, and next to it a rough opening. Today there is a new door in the same spot, and that opening leads into the bedroom.
Bicocca
Three apartments on via Luigi Pulci, via Gian Gerolamo Savoldo and via Mario Fubini, renovated one by one and now let as short stays by Rial Estate.
A living room that opens onto the balcony. The demolished partition walls are still on the floor, and their outline shows on the ceiling. Today the living room opens onto the balcony door, and the room on the right, once the kitchen, has become the bedroom.
A bedroom by the balcony. Dark tiles, marked walls and an old pendant lamp. The French door is the same; everything else is new: a wood-coloured floor, white walls and a double bedroom looking onto the balcony.
The bathroom, from scratch. Beige tiles with floral inserts, a cast-iron radiator and floor-standing fittings. Where the radiator stood there is now a glass shower with mosaic tiles, along with wall-hung fittings, a vanity unit and a light wood-effect floor.
Sanzio 8
On Via Marghera we are creating a one-of-a-kind apartment: an indoor pool, a private cinema room and a lounge that looks onto the water through wide arches.
Brusimpiano
On the Italian shore of Lake Lugano, just over an hour from Milan, we are rebuilding a courtyard house: four apartments around a shared courtyard.
We renovate as if we were going to manage it
Because we often do. We choose materials that last, spaces that are easy to clean and details guests notice: it is what we do every day in our own apartments.
