In short
This site uses a single cookie, a technical one that remembers the language you are reading in. We do not use analytics, profiling or advertising cookies, and there are no third-party tracking tools. Besides the cookie, the site stores one technical value in the browser's session storage, which never leaves your device.
That is why we do not ask for your consent: under the Italian data protection authority's guidelines of 10 June 2021, technical cookies do not require it.

They are small text files that a site stores in your browser to remember information from one page to the next.

It stays in your browser: it is not sent to the server and contains no data that identifies you.
The booking form
Each apartment page includes the Smoobu booking form, loaded from the booking.smoobu.com domain. That form may set its own cookies needed to work and, if you pay by card, Stripe cookies used for payment security and fraud prevention. To protect payments and the form from fraud and abuse, automated checks such as hCaptcha may appear, with their own technical cookies.

The map, photographs, typefaces and weather are served from our own domain (our server fetches the weather from MET Norway): opening the site does not contact third-party services, except for the booking form, which loads only when you reach the booking section of an apartment page.
How to manage cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the language cookie the site still works: you will simply need to choose the language again from the menu.
